Diplo & GTA - Boy Oh Boy

Posted on Mar 14, 2013 in Bass, Hip-Hop, Moombahton

The week before WMC is just such a great time to be a dance music fan. Lineups that would make you weak in the knees, a unique buzz amongst the DJs, and new tracks popping up right before showtime. Case and point, this nasty moombah-dutch-hip hop version of Missy Elliot‘s “Work It”, beautifully put together by Diplo and 2013′s so-far breakout duo, GTA. The bass drum in this one is relentless, it pounds between genre transitions while Missy Elliot’s 2001 smash is preserved in the middle section. Grab this one for free from GTA’s Facebook page, we guarantee it will be heard a few times under the warm Miami sun.
