Konshens - Gal a Bubble (Major Lazer x Bro Safari x ETC!ETC! Remix)

Posted on May 11, 2013 in Bangers, Moombahton

Major Lazer is just keeping the dancefloor rumbling. Now the self-proclaimed reggae group has teamed up with Bro Safari and ETC!ETC! to put a moombahton spin on “Gal a Bubble”, a reggae jam from Kingston’s-own Konshens.

Having just released Free the Universe, Major Lazer have kept things moving with their remix of Dada Life’s “Boing Clash Boom” and Diplo’s collaboration with DJ Fresh on “Earthquake”. Amongst the flood of releases, this remix of “Gal a Bubble” is among the better half, infusing the original with an extra summertime kick. Konshens’ vocals survive, if only indecipherably, but this still helps retain the pure Jamaican vibe of the source track.

This is one of the better side-projects from Major Lazer, and it shouldn’t disappoint Bro Safari or ETC!ETC! fans either. Pick it up free below!
