Funkin Matt - MAD [Free Download]

Posted on Aug 4, 2013 in Bangers, Bass, Moombahton

Few know how to create suspense and build tracks like Funkin Matt, and on his latest track “MAD” he delivers some totally free “total ecstasy”.

There’s a fantastical quality behind this track with its acid dripping synths and vocal set-up, and as usual, Funkin Matt lets it all sink in. Once you’re properly warmed up, he holds out for just a short moment longer before cutting through the atmosphere he’s created with a electro moombahton bass saw. It’s exactly the sound you wouldn’t expect to hear, but that sounds perfectly in tune with the rest of the track. A rowdy yet masterful harmony.

The Norwegian producer is simply at it again. If you’re unfamiliar with his previous work, it’s a great example of how one can have their own style without becoming redundant. Colorful instrumentation keeps things fresh on his tracks which all seem to wobble and break to their own variation of moombahton. Essentially, if you’re ever in a pinch to find music for a party, just throw on a Funkin Matt mix.

Download “MAD” below and check out the whole collection on his Soundcloud.
