Walden - First Day

Posted on Sep 10, 2013 in Progressive House

Ah, the wonderful world of Walden. What a place it is. The young Australian producer continues to impress with his new single “First Day” which is his most mesmerizing release yet.

After momentarily sidestepping into industrial electro house on his Machine Land EP, Walden has returned to the progressive house utopia he started with “Brightness”. While his previous tracks have been stunning in their own right, “First Day” is impossible to let go. Paced beautifully, the track flows along with a benevolent synthesized melody before breaking into an all out joyous celebration. It would be big enough by itself, but together with the dreamy vocals, “First Day” is elevated to a level few producers are capable of reaching.

If you prefer more of an edge, head over to Beatport where the Ivan Gough & Jebu remix is available, adding a twist of techno. The original is also available on iTunes and it’s highly recommended that you pick it up!
