Gorgon City - Intentions EP

Posted on May 9, 2013 in Deep House, Garage

I was first turned on to London duo Gorgon City via the HARD Summer line-up. With the Gary Richards seal of approval, they certainly were something new to check out. Perfect timing as well, given their new single “Intentions” has just dropped on Black Butter Records.

The sound is a fusion of deep bass twang with the occasional garage two-step beat, at times downright mean vibes of UK grime. Producers Foamo and RackNRuin form a love child fusion between Disclosure, Dusky, and Jack Beats on some of their tracks - fantastic new sounds to look forward to. Stream the two-track EP below and grab it on iTunes today.
