MORTEN - Perfect Dive

From Denmark with love, MORTEN is set to become an international icon with his multi-dimensional nature and clever new single.

The Danish producer has already proved to be immensely popular in his homeland where his album Drop! went Platinum and reached the pinnacle of local charts. Now, having just played at Marquee in NYC this past fall, it’s time to take notice of MORTEN if you haven’t already.

His upcoming single “Perfect Dive” has an understated intensity that proves, at least in this case, that less is certainly more. Setting the scene with a 007-like intro, he shakes (not stirs) things up with an undercover drop that submerges the track into a deep house undertow powerful enough to pull in the masses.

Part of what makes MORTEN so appealing is that he doesn’t conform to one style or another. His previous tracks including “Look Closer”, “On It”, and “Larva” range from progressive to techy, and his tattooed appearance is anything but minimal. There is no doubt he has passion for making music which is reflected in Shakespearean writing across his chest, “If music be the food of love, play on”.

“Perfect Dive” will be available March 7th on Beatport. Until then, preview the track via the video below which provides even more insight into the producer.
