Deep Dish - Quincy
Say Hello. Again. The house legends have returned with a new single and mystery in Miami.
“Deep Dish is a part of me. It’s not something I’m trying to get away from.” Sharam’s parting words to Resident Advisor Magazine in 2006 suggested that a reunion with his production counterpart Dubfire was inevitable - and indeed it was.
Their brand new single “Quincy” will premier this Friday (Happy Valentines Day!) on Pete Tong’s BBC 1 radio show, and we have the teaser for you below. The track cruises along a smooth groove, sounding both classic and ultra-modern simultaneously.
More intriguing though is the announcement that the pair will headline at Miami Ice Palace on March 29th in what is being called a “remarkable show”. Everything else is under wraps so it will be interesting to see what the Grammy Award winning pair has in store for us.
“Quincy” will be released March 31st, just after the pair’s March 29th performance to which you can find tickets here. They may have just said “Hello” a decade ago, but with all this hype, we’re assuming their re-introduction will be a lot less subtle.
