Protohype & Prima Volta - Bigger Than You & Me (Proper Villains Remix)

Posted on Jun 26, 2013 in Bass, Remixes, Trap

We’ve got a doozy for you all today from our boy Proper Villains. The NYC bass-head is back with an amazing new remix of ‘Bigger Than You & Me’ by Protohype & Prima Volta ft. Through The Roots. In his own words:

I went 85ish bpm on this. I’m getting really into this whole 85 bpm 1/2 time trap thing, so this was definitely a cool opportunity to experiment with that and I’m really happy with how it came out. I was kinda shooting for an old school NIN industrial vibe and hope that comes through in the final product. I even dusted off my Gibson flying V guitar and played all the stabs and the feedback myself (that’s all live, not samples). It was really fun. Thanks for all your love & support.
