Felix Cartal & Clockwork - The Fire [Preview]

Posted on May 12, 2013 in Bangers, Electro, Progressive House

It’s releases like this that make the work week a little more enjoyable. Felix Cartal and Clockwork’s crazy piece of electro is finally here.

“The Fire” features vocals from Madame Buttons and initially sounds like some club-pop rehash. But then… but then, the Clock’ starts ticking… Madame Buttons fades away, the clapping subsides, and the traditional synths transform into a dark, dance-warping inferno. In its entirety, the track works. The traditional bit isn’t as bad as it is, well, traditional, but it sets up the drop somewhat nicely and is sure to help the track gain some extra mainstream traction.

It takes “The Fire” a bit to catch, but once it does, it rages. A little something to make you say ’Yes!, It’s Tuesday!” this week when it’s officially released.
