HARD Summer Line-Up Announced

We’re nearing the end of the school year, and what better way to start the countdown than with the announcement of HARD Summer 2013? The line-up for the two-day music festival, held in the downtown Historic Park of sunny Los Angeles on August 3rd and 4th, was promised to be epic, and founder Gary Richards did not disappoint.

Released just minutes ago, there are a slew of regulars: Knife Party, Duck Sauce, Justice, Gesaffelstein, Brodinski, and the dirtybird crew (with the introduction of its newest member Justin Jay), among others; but it’s the newcomers to the party that are grabbing the attention. Recently formed Dog Blood, the duo of Boys Noize and Skrillex, will be gracing the HARD Summer stage for the first time. LA will also get to see dance music darlings Disclosure shake things up, as well as the addition of other non-traditional HARD acts such as Julio Bashmore, Duke Dumont, Daniel Avery, and Rudimental. True to the festival’s easy summer style, hip-hop and trap will also be represented with 2 Chainz, TNGHT, Flosstradamus, Ryan Hemsworth, Just Blaze, Baauer, Jerome LOL, and Azaelia Banks. Whether you were dancing it up at Coachella in the Sahara, the Yuma, or just on your couch at home, there is something for you to enjoy.

UPDATE: We now have a promo video for the much anticipated event. Prepare yourself for the inevitable laughter that will ensue. We won’t spoil it for you, but all we’ll say is that Bassnectar is extremely well-represented with his signature wind-in-the-hair.
