Chuckie - Dirty Funkin Beats

He has ejected Miley Cyrus from VIP and played for the king and queen of the Netherlands. And with his just-released single, The King of Dirty Dutch continues to assert his royalty.

The iconic dirty dutch sound is very much alive on “Dirty Funkin Beats”. The unsurprisingly sparse track is full of revelry with big builds, a melodic break, and… oh those swerving synths.

Previously working with Hardwell and Gregor Salto, and being praised by David Guetta, the dirty dutch producer connected with Lupe Fiasco and Too $hort last year on “Makin’ Papers”. But instead of diverting from his signature sound, Chuckie stayed faithful and dirtied-up a whole new audience. Dirty Dutch has seen more popular days, but Chuckie’s ability to transcend industry trends is quite clear.

Check out Chuckie live at Marquee in Las Vegas tonight (2/17). “Dirty Funkin Beats” can be streamed below and download on Beatport.
