Petey Clicks - Da Feelin

Posted on Feb 7, 2014 in Bass, Brand New, House

“I’m just kind of over the whole ‘trap’ thing,” Petey Clicks tells THUMP as he continues to kick off his solo career with his brand new house track “Da Feelin”.

Previously working under other aliases and collaborations, the Virginian producer has now signed with AC Slater’s Party Like Us label, and he’s starting to heat up the dancefloors.

“Da Feelin” mixes a bubbly bassline with dirty synths and simple vocal cut, creating a stimulating and fashionable house track with tons of versatility. The release is part of Petey Clicks’ new series of EPs focused on genre-bending bass and house music.

But just how much is Petey now devoting to the dance scene? Well, enough to where he gets “da feelin” according to THUMP.

“‘Da Feelin’ is a special feeling you get at 5AM when your ‘get to the airport’ alarm goes off after a long night of partying on tour. Just for a moment, you consider going back to bed and completely ruining your entire tour for the sake of sleep.”
