Pet Shop Boys - Axis (Boys Noize Remix)

Posted on May 15, 2013 in Electronic, Remixes, Techno

While he may be better known for his original electro productions, Alex Ridha is back with a remix that returns to the stripped down techno sound that made us first fall in love with Boys Noize. With original Boys Noize work, BNR Records label management, and Dog Blood collaborations and touring, it’s impressive to see him still churning out remixes on the side. This time it’s a take on UK electronic duo Pet Shop Boys‘ new single “Axis”. While the original is a synthy, robotic, hard-hitting piece of electronica, the remix preserves the most minimal of elements. The staircase riffs of German techno are unmistakably Boys Noize.
