MONSTA - Messiah (Feed Me Remix)

MONSTA is an OWSLA group consisting of producers Rocky and Rufio with soulful vocalist Skaar. The trio have produced some really fantastic beats, each track highlighting Skaar’s extraordinary vocals over really upbeat and unique dubstep production. I love what Skrillex said about Skaar’s voice: “His vocals are so raw and so pristine he can just walk up to any mic…. he just sounds like fucking angels are singing.”

After Dirty South and Alvin Risk put their spins on MONSTA’s track “Messiah,” yet another great spin on the song is now entering the air waves. Feed Me has released a new remix of the track, taking out the heavy bass and incorporating some fun piano, some drum and bass influence, and chiptune sound effects. It would be a mistake to mess with the vocals on “Messiah,” and luckily Feed Me kept the powerful vocals pretty much untouched. Usually Feed Me produces music with a tendency toward a darker sound, reminiscent of deadmau5, but this remix is surprisingly upbeat. It’s ideal for a Friday Night dance party playlist… Too bad it’s only Monday :’(
