TOKiMONSTA feat. MNDR - Go With It

Posted on Apr 3, 2013 in Electro, Electro-Pop, Smooth Jams

It’s not everyday that MNDR’s Amanda Warner slips a little something in your drink and shows you the dreamy side of life, so don’t miss this one.

MNDR tone it down considerably from their regular electro-pop sound on “Go With It”. Warner’s bewitching vocals lure you into the depths of the consolatory track from TOKiMONSTA (aka Jennifer Lee), and linger long after the it’s over. And the accompanying video by High5Collective portrays this perfectly.

In a weird twist, it’s almost as if the male character in the video is MNDR, and Amanda Warner is TOKiMONSTA showing the party animal how rewarding it can be to settle down. Maybe I’m looking too far into this… Either way, it doesn’t matter. The video features hauntingly beautiful imagery with a unique love story of sorts that includes some devious club-behavior from Amanda Warner. Or maybe it isn’t so devious. You’ll have to check it out and decide for yourself.

Don’t let this one slip through the cracks. Check out the track (available on iTunes) and video below.
