Boys Noize Records - Miami Noize Vol. 4

Posted on Mar 16, 2013 in Compilation Album, House, Techno

What a better way to celebrate day two of Ultra Music Festival than with the newest volume of Miami Noize. The compilation album from Boys Noize Records features one dozen sun-soaked treasures from the label’s roster, including D.I.M., Djedjotronic, Etnik, Jan Driver, Bart B More, Housemeister, Baskerville, Strip Steve, SCNTST, and more. Each track highlights the characteristic BNR “tekno” flavor, but with a Miami twist, making for an amazing techno-acid cocktail - a sound that remains largely absent from the South Beach scene.

Although each contribution has something unique to offer, my top selections would have to be those from SCNTST, D.I.M., Djedjotronic, and Housemeister. The young wiz-kid, SCNTST brings a shimmering din to his submission, ideal for some morning beach time, while the album opener from D.I.M. is perfect for some sunset libations. Djedjotronic’s metallic piece is a great choice for any pool party and Housemeister’s gritty electro burner will keep you going during all the after parties. Give the full sampler stream a listen below and get pumped because the weekend’s not even half over!
