Bixel Boys - Love Like This (incl. remixes)

Posted on Mar 5, 2013 in Baby Makin, Deep House, Smooth Jams

It’s hard to believe that a song such as “Love Like This” by Faith Evans will soon be celebrating it’s 15th (!) anniversary. It seems like only yesterday that Biggie‘s former wife was soundtracking middle school dances while the Bad Boy empire prevailed over the music industry.

Thankfully, LA duo Bixel Boys have remade it into a deep house bomb that keeps the soothing, hypnotic vocals from Faith while adding crisp, minimal basslines to the production. If there’s ever been a perfect late-night track, this might be it. Check it out below and head over to Bixel Boys Facebook page to grab it for free.

But the late-night summer vibes aren’t done yet. A couple more (free) remixes to boot from two quality producers, Viceroy and Steffi Graf. The former channels some classic three-chord piano and organ house sounds to add some old-school flavor, while the latter keeps things deep but different with a vocal bend that strays from the original in just the right way. Don’t sleep on either of these, you can pick both up for free via Soundcloud.
