So its no secret by now that we at ICGYH love Danish sensation Morten Breum. Check out the latest episode of Electronic Spotlight as Morten headlines XS in Las Vegas, Nevada. A month or so ago, we posted Breum‘s collab with Danish dubstep duo Pegboard Nerds: “Ingen Anden Drøm”. The track was received very well by our audience, and rightfully so. I remember loving the dirty dub sound as well as the beautiful vocals, but wondering what in the hell the lyrics meant (they were in Danish).

“California Love (Morten Breum Dubstep Mashup)” is much more my style. Morten was able to mash “California Love” by one of his favorite (and my favorite) rappers, 2pac with the original dub beat of “Ingen Anden Drøm”. Breum recently relocated to LA from Denmark, and this track makes it pretty apparent that he loves California just as much as the rest of us (the weather speaks for itself). This record bangs hard, and the vocals are from a song we in the U.S. all know and love. Crank up the volume, roll your windows down, and enjoy this variation to a “California classic.”
