It’s John Dahlback Christmas!

It’s not December, and it’s sure as fuck not snowing, but DAMN, it feels like Christmas. I’ve just learned that John Dahlback is releasing not one, but TWO huge singles tomorrow. In addition to “Overdose”, which I already gushed about earlier today, John Dahlback will be also be releasing “Phoenix” on Toolroom Records’ “Amsterdam Dance Event” sampler album tomorrow. Of the two singles, I can’t decide which one is my favorite. What is beautiful about John Dahlback’s music is that he is an extremely versatile artist. “Overdose” is a straight up panty dropper tune that goes rather hard, while “Phoenix” is a melodic trancey progressive anthem, yet both of them bear John Dahlback’s signature. Two very different songs by one very masterful producer. Which release are you looking forward to more, “Overdose” or “Phoenix”? All I know is I will be purchasing both of these gems on Beatport tomorrow because I definitely can’t choose. #JohnDahlbackChristmas
