Deorro - All I Need Is Your Love (ft. Adrian Delgado)

Posted on Apr 11, 2014 in Progressive House

It’s always interesting when someone as rambunctious as Deorro softens up. And up until now, Deorro was perhaps most rambunctious of all. His new single “All I Need Is Your Love” with Adrian Delgado is far from soothing by normal standards, but for Deorro, we may as well be talking about a Marvin Gaye cover.

The Los Angeles producer has flirted with the less-insane side of euphoria before on “Unspoiled Perfection”, but those who let their guard down early inevitably fell victim to the playhouse ball-pit frenzy that popped off on the drop. You can stop wincing here though - “All I Need Is Your Love” with Adrian Delgado is the real deal. The track does progress significantly from its initial beachside guitars, ending up in the party zone, but it doesn’t lose itself in the moment. The drop carries the melody and takes in an endless supply of summer energy along with it. Think of it as a kind-of romanticized version of Afroki’s “No Beef”.

Deorro is, of course, no stranger to Steve Aoki. He collaborated with the cake-throwing wild man and Diplo on “Freak” released just last month. Deorro has also teamed up with Tommie Sunshine, and remixed Axwell amongst countless others. A big room house wouldn’t be nearly enough to contain the massive sounds of Deorro on an ordinary day, but we have something different with “All I Need Is Your Love”, and it’s even more impressive. Don’t underestimate Deorro. He could very well be the next big name.

Deorro just played at Coachella, but you can catch him there again April 18th at 3:50pm at Sahara. Stream “All I Need Is Your Love” below and pick it up April 15th.
