Dog Blood - Middle Finger Pt. 2 [EP]

The self-described “terror band” has torn their own track “Middle Finger” to shreds. Dog Blood’s new EP features three reworks of their classic original and adds two new tracks that bring the same crowd-combusting fire.

The same, dragged vocals are still present, but this time they’re joined by more traditional pitched-up vocal breaks on the new track “Chella Ride”. This is far from saying Skrillex and Boys Noize are straying from their hardcore influence, however. Their other new track “Shred Or Die” is essentially nu-metal with some well-placed breaks and a trap undertow. And despite the fact that remixes to the opener and title track “Middle Finger Pt. 2″ comprise the last two tracks, The M Machine and Millions Like Us know this isn’t an EP for the meek.

Those who prefer the harder, darker side to electronic music won’t get too much new here, but what’s present is ferocious as ever and won’t disappoint. Pick it up August 20th and listen below!
