Basement Jaxx - Back 2 The Wild

Posted on Apr 24, 2013 in House, Pop, Tribal

Basement Jaxx take you “Back 2 the Wild” on their latest excursion that will shred off your clothes with its tyrannosaur funk and have you dancing the way nature intended.

Guided by their inner Baltimora, no element of a 90s safari-cartoon is left behind. “Back 2 the Wild” is a bonanza of congas, jungle calls, whistles, and enough animal sounds to keep Ace Ventura happy. But then, around a minute-and-a-half in, day turns to night, and that’s when things get “freaky”.

The chaotic adventure isn’t as much a dance track as it is a playful one, but to be honest, it feels damn good to let loose and get goofy the old fashioned way.

Basement Jaxx are inviting you on a vacation of the campiest variety. I’m ready to go. Are you?
