UKF Presents Never Say Die Vol. 2 (Album)

Posted on Apr 22, 2013 in Bass, Compilation Album, Drum n Bass, DubStep, Trap

Those who say dubstep is a dying breed must not be familiar with the consistency known to the UKF brand. As a name dedicated to quality bass music from industry vets and up-and-coming artists, they have now teamed up with Skism‘s Never Say Die Records to put out the second chapter of a hard-hitting dub, trap, and drum & bass.

With a roster of familiar faces from previous Skism mix compilations such as Eptic, Zomboy, and 501, this compilation is loaded with chaotic drops, complex top lines, and even the occasional grime-heavy verse. At the same time, Skism carves out some new sounds by young EDM-focused artists, enlisting the work of KillaGraham, Habstrakt, and Dirtyloud, tying in sounds from glitch hop, electro house, and trap. All in all, it’s a wide scope of today’s heavy bass scene, with standout tracks including Tantrum Desire‘s remix of “Killer”, Antiserum & Mayhem‘s future bass take on “Like This”, as well as Milo & Otis‘ eerie trap VIP of KillaGraham’s “Clowns”.
