Mooro - Mooro EP

Posted on Apr 16, 2013 in Electro, Music Video

Mooro is probably a new name to most of you. However, if you’ve seen Death Crew 77 or The Bloody Beetroots Live, then you’ve unknowingly seen Mooro smashing away on the drums behind his devious venom mask. Hailing from Rome, the prolific drummer has made his production debut with his self-titled EP Mooro on Lektroluv Records.

Not surprisingly, the four-track EP has got a lot to offer. ‘M66R6′ has got the gritty electro punch we expect, but it also includes some some groovy flair to separate it from the pack. The accompanying music video is also well worth a view or two (check it out below). ‘No Stoppin” as its name implies, is a relentless grindstone thrasher, and if you’re still breathing, ‘Drums Ignorance’ will more than certainly finish you off. As a bonus, Mooro switches things up for the closing track ‘For Those About To Funk’, leaving us with a 90 bpm funk-ridden stomper to waste the rest of the night away.
