ICGYH FAM! Let me introduce you to VALEN, a personal friend and Big-Room Producer from Portland, Oregon. We were lucky enough to get his new big-room single “Get Low” posted on the site for all to hear. Check it out below, and love his bio like we all did.

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Valen has always surrounded himself with a culture of music. Swept up at a young age by the local indie and hip-hop scenes, as well as being introduced to a healthy dose of 80′s hair metal by family, he finally gave in to the urge to create music of his own in high school. After falling in love with the hard hitting sounds of Justice soon after, Valen shifted focus completely to producing electro house. With his newly-honed sound, he is ready to unleash ferocious tunes to the masses. Boasting an energetic show to match, we know Valen has the right cards up his sleeve to take 2013 by storm.

If you’re in town this weekend be sure to check out VALEN and the Shifty Rythms crew at The Central in Santa Monica on Saturday! RSVP here
