Valentines Day Treat: Afrojack at SOUND Nightclub Review

While everyone was out on romantic dates for Valentines day, we were lucky enough to get an opportunity to see Dutch mastermind Afrojack perform a show at the intimate SOUND Nightclub.

A little about SOUND: Located in the heart of Hollywood, SOUND nightclub is perfectly designed for the ‘underground’ scene. With a HUGE LED wall and a bangin sound system, the vibe was almost too perfect for Afrojack’s big room Dutch House cuts. All females were given headbands with lit up hearts upon entry to set the Valentine’s Day mood, which we felt was a thoughtful addition. The crowd started to pick up towards the end of the opener’s set, and once the go-go dancers appeared within their cages, we knew the night was beginning to turn up.

Once Afrojack hit the decks, the crowd immediately rushed to the front and the nightclub was instantly filled with energy. Bangers were dropped back to back, and he even gave us a taste of some unreleased tracks from his upcoming album, including “Annies Theme”, “Rock the House” that made the crowd go absolutely apeshit. Afrojack successfully blew the roof off of SOUND nightclub on Valentines day, showing everyone that even big names are welcome at the intimate Hollywood nightclub. We cant wait for the next show here!
