Beautiful World: The Ecstasy Remixes (Laidback Luke, Michael Woods & More!)

Mark Knight & Tiesto’s “Beautiful World” feat. Dino was one of the biggest tracks of the 2011 year, and still remains one of my personal all-time favorites. While it’s by no means a dated track, I find myself constantly wanting to incorporate it into my current DJ sets, yet hesitating because been out for quite some time now. Finally, all my prayers have been answered in the form of a golden remix bundle just released on Knight’s Toolroom imprint, titled Beautiful World: The Ecstasy Remixes. This collection is full of remix gems by Laidback Luke, Michael Woods, Tom Staar & Sam Young, Torqux, and Violet Oversoul. From big room, to dubstep, to electro, to straight up chilled out, this album takes the original and re-imagines it in a diverse array of styles. While picking favorites from the remix album is kind of like apples and oranges, i’m gonna have to say that Michael Woods’ remix takes the cake for me. That being said, Laidback Luke’s remix is undeniably poppin’ and is overflowing with that signature LL sound, and I can’t deny my love for the pitch-bendy, fidgety electro vibe that i’m getting from the Tom Staar & Sam Young remix. Check em’ out below, and don’t forget to purchase Beautiful World: The Ecstasy Remixes on Beatport!
