Chiquila

I was doing my daily rounds when I discovered “Chiquila”, the new Angger Dimas & Christian Luke track that was released just a few days ago on Vicious Recordings. All I have to say is HOLY FUCK. This tune is so hot it’s silly. The track is consistent with the classic tribal Angger Dimas sound, but it is infused with big power chords which gives it a pleasant trance-y feel. “Chiquila” is huge, and i’m loving the innovative concept. I suspect this kind of “outside the box thinking” may have something to do with the experience Angger Dimas has gained working with Tiesto and Showtek, musical titans with different genre specialties, in their side project Boys Will Be Boys. I’m definitely seeing a noticeable creative deviation in Angger Dimas from his earlier work, and i’m loving it. Tiesto also seems to be branching out from his signature sound, which may have something to do with his involvement in Boys Will Be Boys as well. Whatever the reason, I think it’s a very positive thing.
