The title says it all. UMEK’s new release “It Is Simple But It Works Like Fcuk” proves to the world that Slovenia is still a country to be reckoned with as EDM gains massive worldwide popularity. Staying true to its tech house roots, the track sputters up sporadic sci-fi textures and gritty tribal samples to make the underlying bass groove that much more deep and impactful. Definitely one of my favorite UMEK tracks at the moment, and while the track may not get a lot of play at local college parties anytime soon, you can be sure the track will soon be in the arsenal of some very high-end international DJs.
