In October we interviewed Steve Aoki about everything going on in his wild cake-hurtling, superstar DJ life. He alluded to the release of a couple of new collaborative tracks before the year was out and now we’re seeing it all come to fruition. Today, Aoki released his new three-track EP on Dim Mak, suitably named It’s The End Of The World As We Know It. 

Each track is fully equipped to ignite your doomsday-driven frenzy as the apocalypse draws closer. The EP opens ‘Singularity’ a maniacal collaboration with Angger Dimas that will decimate all you white water ravers out there. Next is ‘Omega’ featuring Dan Sena and Miss Palmer on vox. The track seems a little more radio friendly at the outset, but it quickly mutates into a jacking electro banger that will get you supremely aggro in da club. The EP finishes with a more delicate selection entitled ‘Transcend’ featuring Rune RK. The closer is constructed with a warm, buzzing arpeggiator that gradually accelerates into a euphoric electro house drop that will have you smiling as the sky falls down.
