The Chemical Brothers – Swoon (No Body 2012 Remix)

I picked up on No Body roughly 8 months ago after they won Clockwork’s remix competition for his single ‘Weaver’. Every month since they’ve been releasing banging remixes of esteemed producers such as Above & Beyond, Wolfgang Gartner, and Dada Life. To celebrate reaching 3k fans on Facebook, No Body just dropped their newest track; a big room house/acid remix of ‘Swoon’ by The Chemical Brothers.

I’ve always been wed to the original, having a casual affair with the Boys Noize remix on the side, but No Body’s tremendous revamp we be gladly welcomed into my harem of electro-house love. It builds up with energetic, buzzing synths that unite with the original’s unshakable vocals during the breakdown, which then erupt into two different drops. The first is a grinding acid-house bassline and the second is an epic, big room house chord progression which follows the original’s main melody.

This remix is mammoth in sound and will ignite wonderful nostalgia at the same time, making it a great fit as we head into the festival season.

“Just remember, to fall in love. There’s nothing else. There’s nothing else.”
