Happy Halloween everyone! First let me say that this past weekend has been unreal… Hard Haunted on Friday night at the Shrine Expo was quite a night, with stand-out sets by Fatboy Slim and Laidback Luke. Escape from Wonderland the following night was just nutty – the stage and venue production was fantastic. My personal favorite sets: AN21 & Max Vangeli, Markus Schulz, and Marco Carola. More on these events is soon to come.

In searching for some tracks I heard this past weekend by the above artists, I inadvertently discovered a new gem – Jerry Rekonius. After perusing his Soundcloud, I’m already a big fan and I expect huge things from him soon to come. The 21-year old Swedish producer certainly has quite a future ahead of him! Check out his BANGING new release Powahbunga on Spinnin’ Records. The dutchy, big room beat along with some electro grit makes this track an ultimate rave weapon.
