Fedde Le Grand Joins Coldplay In Concert Today!

When talking about Fedde Le Grand’s accolades, it’s hard to even figure out where to begin. Fedde Le Grand has been at the very top of the EDM world for years, leading the pack in the realms of both DJing and production. He holds residencies at Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza and Ministry of Sound London. He was recently named #14 DJ in the world for the 2011 year, and he has had five number one singles on Beatport this year alone! One of those singles is his remix of Coldplay’s “Paradise”, which is currently standing strong at #1 on the Beatport charts. Fedde’s remix of “Paradise” has been one of the most talked about new songs this season, and is an absolute smash hit.

Coldplay has been one of the most successful and popular musical acts of this generation. In a special event, Coldplay has invited Fedde Le Grand to support them in a live show as the official guest artist of Coldplay’s American Express ‘Unstaged’ concert at the Plaza del Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid today, October 26th. This is a huge honor for Fedde Le Grand and a monumental event for the EDM community. Through this event, Fedde Le Grand is expanding the dance music community’s sphere of influence. Dance music has not always received the warmest reception from the mainstream community, and events such as this fuse together the two communities.

This event is an absolute dream come true for Fedde Le Grand.

Fedde Le Grand will open the concert for Coldplay, which will be streamed live across the globe to millions via YouTube and VEVO. Coverage of the concert will be filmed and directed by award-winning filmmaker and photographer Anton Corbijn. Fans in New York City can actually catch the performance on four large LED screens with in-built sound situated in Time Square.
